The course will develop the educational and formative contents related to theories, models, and methods relevant to planning decisions, complementing techniques and tools for the analysis, programming, planning, design, and management of interventions for the transformation of the environment, landscape, urban and territorial systems, organizational structures, and morphologies of human settlements.

Objectives:

The main objectives of the course are related to the aim of to provide students with operational methods and tools for spatial analysis of the city aimed, primarily, at understanding the processes of change that characterize the dynamics of urban transformation, especially with reference to infrastructural and environmental aspects. Processes of change underway attributable to the climate crisis, to digital evolution, to the new forms of sociality that characterize the historical moment.
